Detailed information

Product detailed description

A small folding fan (called abanico in Spanish) with a covering side rail 23 cm long.
This classic (mostly ladies') accessory, known since the Middle Ages, is mainly used to quickly refresh or cool down on hot summer days or in stuffy enclosed spaces.
With a little practice, the small fan can be easily unfolded and folded with just a wave of the hand. Folded it can be easily stored in your handbag so you can always have it at hand as a first aid against heat or fainting:)

In recent years, this small fan format has also started to be used as a prop for flamenco dancing. You can also often see it as a theatre prop.

Small fans, whether monochrome or painted, are a popular and tried and tested gift that will delight all generations, from little girls to grandmothers. A small fan in white or cream is sure to be appreciated by any bride.
Men also come to us for fans, but they mostly choose monochrome models in dark tones.

Size: approx. 42 / 23 cm
Made of wood and textile
Finish: top side glossy, lacquered / backside matt

Fans are generally fragile items and you can definitely extend their service life if you get a suitable protective case to carry and store them.

Notice:

The fans are made of natural wood, which is a non-elastic and imperfect material. Therefore, while cutting fragile fan ribs, there might naturally appear small imperfections, so that not every edge or corner is perfectly straight.

After painting and varnishing, the open fans are let to dry, and during this process, a drop of paint or varnish may run off somewhere and harden there.

Small imperfections on the wooden parts of the fan or small traces of drops of paint or varnish are not a reason for claims for replacement, as this is a common occurrence during the production of painted wooden fans.
